The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has launched a new resource for qualified investigators in preclinical models of Infectious Diseases (PCMID)
Preclinical Models of Infectious Disease.
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio has several NIH/NIAID supported task orders to evaluate investigational agents for in vivo activity against different pathogens under PCMID. Below is a brief summary of these task orders:
Task Order A01 – Therapeutic Testing in Murine Models of Fungal Infections-
Candida auris, Scedosporium species
Task Order A20 – Therapeutic Testing in Murine Models of Fungal Infections-
Coccidioidomycosis.
